The Gull Lake project is an example where
long-term planning and project assessment can lead to a solution.
Any project that has potential envionmental imports must be supported by strong evidence and a demonstrated capacity to mitigate and control any impacts.   This project must have good information compiled to support water useage.  At the same time, any potential impacts must be identified and the best known science can be applied to protect and preserve the environment.

Solutions can cover the full range of information from regulation of volume to monitoring levels of water, monitoring growth and well being of the plant and wildlife unique to the area.
In my view, knowledge and a recognized process is the basis that a solution must be based on to bring this project to conclusion
.

                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                Glen Cummings
