The rectangular Graph depics the high point for the year .  The line graph depicts the freeze point at the end of the season.  The level of the lake may have been lower during the active portion of the season.  However for these graphs we use the end of season mark.

Precipitation is very important and critical to our longevity.
A point brought to the attention of the Board  by Mr Andrew Hay (technical support) was there was little information regarding the Gull Lake Basin area.  As a result of Andrew's presentation the Gull Lake community volunteered to fill in the gaps. The Board now compiles data on both sides of the lake.

Today we are much more informed between the relationships of Rain and our water levels.   An interesting point of Gull Lake is that it resides upon  a hill.   The water we utilize and enjoy by sport is near field, our water shed area being a very small 4.2 square miles.
The data collected have been gathered exclusively by 2 volunteers  Mr. Roy Gabe on the north shore and Mr Stan Malec on the south shore.  This greatly increases reliabilities over the many years. Rather from switching groups from year to year.
Standard Federal issue rain gauges have been  used

Automated service are now used and totalled yearly on the South Shore.
Returning low water when at time, other areas of
the Province had high waters.
